Founder Olufisayo Jejelowo, PhD (Manchester), has expertise in Life Science, with over 250 presentations and publications in Human Space Life Sciences. She has shown outstanding and consistent leadership qualities throughout her time working as a:
- Professor and former Chair of Biology at Texas Southern University
- Director of the NASA University Research Center for Bionanotechnology and Environmental Research (CBER)
- Chief Research Officer (CRO) for the NASA Science and Technology Institute for minority institutions
- Director of Research at the Global Progressive Network, LLC.
In recent years, Dr. Jejelowo worked directly with clients in their homes to identify gaps and needs. She is now working with others at CARE EDGE to impact excellence in caregivers. Dr. Jejelowo has experience in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States of America. She has extensive leadership development training as a NASA NAFP, NASA ASEE, and NASA NAFEO academy Fellow with 40-plus years of experience with NASA-related Human Life Sciences research and workforce development efforts.
Ms. Melanie Herrera is a young, intelligent health science and nursing Care Edge fellow. She recently graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 2023. Melanie is attending Lonestar College and is now pursuing her BSN. She recently joined the company in April 2024 and hit the ground running. We will keep you posted on her accomplishments.
