- Minimize tripping hazards: Remove loose rugs, electrical cords, or clutter from walkways. Secure furniture and rugs with non-slip pads.
- Test safety alarms regularly: Check smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms monthly and replace batteries as needed.
